Set Construction Workshop


3 Days Available

Tuesday, May 31st/Saturday, June 11th/Saturday, June 18th

9am-3pm each workshop day


This technical theatre program is open to students ages 10 and up. Learn the ins and outs of getting ready for a show from set construction to painting and designing set props for our 2016 Summer Season.
Wear comfy clothes okay for painting and close toed shoes. Bring a lunch and snacks or purchase healthy snacks and drinks for $1.00 each.

Play in a Day


2 Days Available

Monday, August 8th and Tuesday, August 9th

9am-3pm each Workshop day


This Non-audition program is open to students ages 5 and up.  Join us each day as we put on a play. Our day will being at 9:00am with theater games that helps us get to know each other and improve basic acting skills. We will then write, block, costume and perform our own play!This Summer 2016 Play in a Day is for children of all experience levels. Whether you are a beginner or more experienced, you are sure to have fun, make new friends and learn something too!
Bring your lunch, comfy clothes and sneakers or dance shoes. Students can purchase healthy snacks and drinks for $1.00 each or they may bring their own.

  Musical Theatre “CallBack” Workshop


Saturday, May 7th

This is an Advanced Workshop for Actors ages 12+.


The “Callback” workshop will take students into the world of the professional musical theatre actors giving them a glimpse of a “standard” Broadway callback.  This workshop will focus all aspects of performing- dance, vocals and acting while learning to think on your feet within in the callback process.  Learn what you can do at the callback to increase your chances of getting the part and learn other tricks of the trade.
Bring your lunch, comfy clothes and sneakers or dance shoes. Students can purchase healthy snacks and drinks for $1.00 each or they may bring their own.
*This workshop will only be open to a maximum of 15 students.

Improv Workshops

Super Improv kids

April 21st from 5:30pm – 7:30pm

Workshop 1 – “Improv is Fun”
In this workshop we build the foundation of this Art. It all starts with fun. We will learn how to have fun and how much more fun everything is if we include others. This workshop is great because anyone can participate. It’s about playing games and learning to work with your partners while having tons of fun.


April 28th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Workshop 2 – “Working Together”
This workshop is about learning how to work together. We will be playing games that promote team building as well as having a great time with friends. This helps with becoming a better actor but also becoming better person.


May 5th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Workshop 3 – “Scene Work”
It’s what improv is about. Creating scenes is where the magic of this art resides. We will be working on what make scenes work and how to create great scenes. This workshop will sharpen your Acting skills as well as your self confidence.


May 12th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Workshop 4 – “Improv with Parents?”
I always had an idea to include the parents in the Improv Fun. Many parents always sit and laugh at all the fun we have in class. Well, now it’s time for parents to come out and play with us. It will be an incredible night of laughter and absolute fun.


Workshop Fee:  Each workshop $30 or all four for $100


* Those who attend workshops will not receive preferential treatment at auditions.* Workshops is open to all students that meet the requirements. Participation in Winter Springs Performing Arts 2016 season is not required.

* Registering for this workshop does NOT register you for the 2016 auditions.
